Annotated Bibliography
This research bibliography starts with an explanation of the challenge being faced by the UAE. It proposes a framework for a solution and offers a vision of success.
Author’s Note from the bibliography:
This bibliography supports an educational concept for the United Arab Emirates. This bibliography is far from complete and will continue to be maintained while the ideas mature. UAE has published strategic national documents that detail their vision for their continued economic success and the development and fulfilment of its citizens and residents. UAE also began a national military service program in 2014. The author believes that combining these two broad ideas, that it is possible to verify and accelerate their progress. The method is a distributed and competency-based, adult-learning model that could be implemented at a national scale. An overlaid digital learning architecture would provide the means to capture formal, non-formal, informal, and experiential learning outcomes across the military as a way to drive efficiencies, measure effectiveness, and connect to broad strategic national objectives.

Project Slides
A very short slide deck that works best if a reader has first read the project description in the first pages of the annotated bibliography. These slides show briefly how this program solves the challenges expressed by UAE National Leaders and how it fits with the National Vision and Agenda. The presentation ends with an abbreviated introduction to the learners and how a program would be designed to address their diverse needs.
